Please note: “everyone who works retail, admin, or labor” is pretty much everyone. I can’t remember the last time I worked somewhere without “security” cameras that monitored employees.

I’m having a good laugh right now because our associates just got collectively reprimanded for leaning on the counters during 8 hour shifts on their feet, because it isn’t “professional” looking.  So apparently they can put up with a camera over their shoulder to make sure they do their jobs correctly, but a cop with a gun cant?

More proof that Paul Ryan is a despicable human being.

Objectivisim at its finest. When the cause he defunded becomes a pop culture fad, why let’s get our photo op in!

I don’t like Paul Ryan, but I think this is actually pretty cool.
"Funding" that he cut is money that was forcefully taken from people to pay for this research. Taxes are theft and immoral no matter what they are being used to pay for
This ice bucket challenge shows us that we don’t need to force people to pay for things, they are more than happy to donate on their own free will.
I don’t know if Ryan donated any money or not but this post conveniently left that part out.

Fyi, he did donate.

This is precisely what we want. People need to be allowed to give to the causes we want to support, rather than having our money forcefully taken and given to causes the government supports.
For instance, our tax money goes to places like Planned Parenthood. I would very much like for my money to not go there. I would like to give my money to my church and local charities like homeless shelters and pregnancy resource centers that will help people rather than killing them.
By taking away funding from these special government interests and leaving that money with the people who earned it, we give people the opportunity to give to the causes that matter to them of their own free will, rather than under the force of the law.

Holy shit the solidarity
